Calendar interface

Views

AgenDAV offers four calendar views, switchable from the buttons in the top right corner:

  • Month - full month overview, events shown as short bars

  • Week - seven-day agenda with hourly time slots

  • Day - single-day agenda with hourly time slots

  • List - plain list of upcoming events over a configurable number of days

Navigate between periods with the prev/next arrows or click Today to jump to the current date. You can also click directly on a date number in the month view to jump to the day view for that date.

Creating events

Click on a time slot - click any empty slot in the week or day view to open the event editor pre-filled with that time. In month view, click on any day to open the editor for that day.

Drag across time slots - in the week or day view, click and drag downward across multiple time slots to create an event that spans exactly the time you selected. The editor opens with the start and end times pre-filled.

Drag across days - in the month view, click and drag across multiple days to create a multi-day all-day event.

Editing events

Click an event to open a details popover with a quick summary. From there you can open the full editor or delete the event.

In the full editor you can change the title, calendar, time, description, reminders, and recurrence settings.

Moving events

Drag and drop an event to a new time slot or day to move it. The change is saved immediately without opening the editor.

  • In the week or day view, drag to any time slot.

  • In the month view, drag to any day.

  • Dragging between a timed slot and the all-day row (or vice versa) converts the event between timed and all-day.

To undo a move, press Ctrl+Z in the browser immediately after - the page must not have been reloaded.

Resizing events

In the week or day view, drag the bottom edge of an event up or down to shorten or extend it. The new end time is saved immediately.

Calendars sidebar

The left sidebar lists all your calendars and any delegated or subscribed calendars. Click the coloured dot next to a calendar to show or hide its events. Click the calendar name to open its settings (colour, display name, sharing options).

The + button at the top of the sidebar creates a new calendar or adds an iCal feed subscription (if enabled by the administrator).
